Today is a Gift, That's why we call it the Present! K.I.S.S

not much to report really, but i just wanted to welcome our new member chloe to the team :) and also to post a picture i took from the hills in marin, overlooking the golden gate.  semester load is getting pretty heavy at the moment and it has been difficult to focus on much else, but i am happy to report that at least i am sticking to my jogging commitment!  no matter how tired i feel in the mornings.  o and i also met a personal trainer who wants to train me for free!  so starting in 3 weeks i will be running and walkin ... the time has come where i need to start asking people to help. in my case, im asking people i have only known for 3 months or less. this task is a little daunting. so far i have found it hard to find a venue to host my event, but i have not given up hope! it is time to use my manipulation skills for good instead of evil mwah ha ha!

i have been sticking to my own personal commitment of a little exercise until semester finishes. i feel good about myself. the fabulous part is this morning it was actually warm e ... Read More »

i have just discovered the time difference between san francisco and peru. i am one very happy little vegemite!! it is only 2 hours ahead in peru so while the rest of the team may struggle with some jetlag on their arrival, i should hopefully be a little more perky :)
i have also added a lima world clock widget to my dashboard and a countdown widget with the approximate date of arrival (along with a picture of peru)... seems we have about 128 days to go! this morning i am feeling inspired and happy to be alive all is well in my world!! the sun is shining in berkeley today clear blue skies and the smell of spring! i will not let my feelings of stress about schoolwork overwhelm this glorious day!

o how grate ...

Must say i feel a little nervous! i feel like im admitting to myself that im actually going to climb those mountains!!! eek! and i feel so unfit at this stage. i did get up for a little jog this morning though, and rode my bike to school (as usual) so i feel like i have made some effort :)

it is hard to put fitness as my top priority in life at the moment when everything seems so busy and chaotic. but, if im honest, that is how my life always seems to be. i am constantly striving to live in the moment and just 'be', but too often get caught up in all the wonderful things life has to offer. and i don't want to miss a minute of it!

so, what's going on with me? at this stage i am still ne ...
