Hi all.
Well it's been a few weeks now since my last blog so thought I better update you all. Really though with my fundraiser event over I've been trying to stay relaxed. However, not with much success. I've been busy with exercising and packing for the trip. Something which is proving to take up a lot of time. And on top of work commitments. Today though it's all starting to catch up and I think I'm getting the flu :-( Sore throat and achy joints has kept me at home most o ...

It began at 6pm with crowds out the front of sea world, so many that they needed crowd control! I heard through the two-way that they where still selling loads of tickets at the door and I had no idea what to expect.
At about 6.05pm the first group (a group of teenage girls I had never seen before) walked down the path into Dolphin Cove where myself, Jade, Richard and Catherine were waiting for them with flyer's in arms. For the first 10mins people (still no one I kn ...

Less than a week to go! Wow it's almost the 28th July already. Ticket sales are just over 300 last I heard on Friday so hopefully by the end of the week they will be at 500! fingers crossed. So as you can all imagine I've been very busy organising and finalising the big night. I still haven't though had a chance to even think about my speech yet. Hopefully though it will all just fall into place. The last few weeks have been to say the least have been a little stressful, but I am very fortunate to have some fantastic people around me that have helped me on this first leg of the journey. And I must say a big thank you to everyone who has helped me so far or bought tickets. People whom I haven't seen or spoken to in years are rounding up frie ...

Hi all. Well ticket sales have started off slow but I'm told that is pretty normal and generally people leave it to the last minute. This makes it a little stressful since a lot depends on numbers. Most people I speak to though are very excited about the event which is good news. This week I've been posting flyers to everyone I know and for those of you who are yet to book don't forget. :-) Sounds like the other girls are getting things together. I'm looking forward to going to Catherine's event and seei ...

Thanks for all your messages. Since I last wrote things have been very busy, but we've made a lot of progress. We are finalizing the Charity Night Show and have just printed off the couple of thousand flyers, thanks to all the help from Tracey in the Art Studio at Movie World. Details about the event are on the website and tickets go on sale as of the 29th June. That's just 4weeks to purchase your tickets.
I've also been running around gathering items for the Auction. So far I've got some great sports merchandise, some awesome paintings

I've never spent so much time at the computer, on the phone and in meetings. I'm so used to being in the water with dolphins all day :-) It's a hard life. hee hee. Well like I said crazy week, but we're making lots of progress and I'm getting to meet lots of people in Village that I would never normally get to meet or work with. It's been great. It's also a giant learning curve too! I'm not used to organising such a big event, in fact I've never organised an event.
Well fingers crossed it all goes well. The date for the night show has been set. The 28th of July kicking off at 6pm. Please come! Flyers will hopefully be finished and printed by the end of next week. I can't wait to start selling those tickets. Well that ...

When I received the call that I had been chosen for this amazing adventure I was so excited that I couldn't stop my hand from shaking. This made it quite difficult to talk while I was on the phone.
