Anyway, she writes with a very streamofconsciousness script, and on red paper - so it's not always 100% easy to understand what she says (which is not that different really to when we speak, because her accent has taken a radical turn toward that mystifying musical mumble that the Scots use to keep others out of their club). But toward the end she became quite lucid. And legible. Toward the end she demanded to know:
"Where in your life are you settling for less? Where are you battling away for just a skeric of wht you truly want and need? I've discovered with renewed clarity just how true it is that you get what you expect and you get what you accept. Everytime you accept the compromise, take the limiting option, give up a little bit in order to keep the peace or keep the battle going, you miss out on leaving the room for what you would truly love to create, have, give, share, be or do to the fullest. Every time you let go of the big picture of what you would do with life, you tell yourself that you are not capable of more - and worst of all, you tell yourself that you are living in a universe that isn't big or generous or diverse enough to provide the opportunity for you fullest expression to be realised. So! We must all ask life for MORE. What does that mean for you?
On the other side of the page, after she had signed her name, she had provided me this contract:
What do you commit to by the end of this year?
Fill in the blanks...
I, Jade Marilyn Richardson, do hearby politely demand from life....
In return I'm willing to offer..... to the world as Thank You.
