So far the Girls on Top experience has been challenging and
empowering. It has been tough asking for my needs to be met from
complete strangers. Continuing to show up and put one foot in front
of the other, with nothing more than hope that it will all turn out!

It began with the task of getting fit despite the cold San Francisco
mornings, and has progressed to being able to juggle many balls in the
air at once to keep not only my own momentum going, but get others
excited and encouraged aswell.

Experience an unforgettable night of music, entertainment and prizes
at the mission's El Rio on Thursday July 17. Enjoy drag performances,
an auction-a-date, silent auction of primitive artifacts from the
Amazon, plus live music blues rock by Jeni Day, The League of Perfect
Gentlemen and dark pop Lissy V. There will also be an awesome raffle
with prizes including an XtraCycle bike, Keen shoes vouchers, hair cut
and color worth $250, gift certificates from various eateries, travel
goods, funky wallets and purses, treats from Good Vibrations and The
Body Shop, and more.
