Less than a week to go! Wow it's almost the 28th July already. Ticket sales are just over 300 last I heard on Friday so hopefully by the end of the week they will be at 500! fingers crossed. So as you can all imagine I've been very busy organising and finalising the big night. I still haven't though had a chance to even think about my speech yet. Hopefully though it will all just fall into place. The last few weeks have been to say the least have been a little stressful, but I am very fortunate to have some fantastic people around me that have helped me on this first leg of the journey. And I must say a big thank you to everyone who has helped me so far or bought tickets. People whom I haven't seen or spoken to in years are rounding up friends and family to come along and show their support. A big thank you to you all. Even my previous places of employment Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort and Underwater World are rounding up staff to come along. Thank you very much everyone. It certainly means a lot to have that kind of support. So if you still have not yet purcahsed you ticket to support the Amazon wilderness then don't forget. Tickets are on sale until 5pm the day of the event. But please book as early as you can to give our Food and Beverage department an idea of final numbers. Something I guess none of us think of until we actually have to plan an event. Again another learning curve in this incredible journey. See you all there at top of my first mountain!

Your Fund Raising Night

Marayka,

I worked with your Grandfather some 30 years ago. I live in Melbourne. At Gordon's invitation I attended your night and enjoyed the experience. I came on the bus with Kate, David and friends, all a little mad but great fun. I have been a sports Adminstrator for some 50 years, I employ and deal with youth every day; you are the sort of person I would love to have as a grand child first or an employee second. Gordon is a lucky man. I hope your trip and future life is everything you would want for yourself. Cheers, Good Luck, Bon Voyage. Re: Not long now !!!! ahhhhh

Hi Marayka, I just wanted to let you know what a great night my 7 yo son and I had at your fundraiser. It was wonderful to see the seal and the dolphins at a night time show. Congratulations and good luck in the Amazon! Cheers, Liz
