Girls on Top and Kathmandu are searching Australia for one woman to join an incredible fund raising journey from the Andes to the Amazon with an all-girl team this September.

Our Adventure Scholarship will provide a place on a unique expedition with roots in the real-life passions and ambitions of ordinary women seeking to celebrate and develop the idea of Women with Altitude - those of us with the courage, energy, joy and determination to reach out for our dreams.

By making a tough, non-technical high altitude expedition through the beautiful and dramatic Huayhuash region of the North Peruvian Andes our team will inspire sponsors and supporters to contribute to our plans to raise awareness and funds to protect the Amazon wilderness - a wonderland of life and powerhouse of water, oxygen and biodiversity for the planet.

Our expedition will provide each team member with a unique window to her self and the world we live in, and encourage others to explore the world and themselves. Our incredible journey to the Amazon will provide each of us with a real-life glimpse of the wonder and the challenges, the beauty and dangers facing one of the greatest icons of wilderness in the world.
