Girls on Top are inviting women to join our 2007 expedition to South America in September. More details about the trek are coming soon, but you can be sure that it will be a two-week, high altitude Andean adventure of a lifetime, with funds raised purchasing uncut Amazon jungle for the creation of a wildlife sanctuary and education centre in Peru.

I am from Sydney, 35 years old and work as freelance photographer. My work is a huge part of my life and I love the opportunities that it brings. I have been inspired by the stories I have heard of girls on Top from its beginning. I was particularly drawn to this years expedition by both the theme, happiness, and the location, Ladakh. I am also drawn to the idea of travelling with a purpose and I will be documenting the journey as we go which I feel will also be a good contribution to Girls on Top. I think this expedition will be an amazing learning experience and I'm really excited to be part of a team that is contributing something as we travel.

I was drawn to this project by the opportunity not only travel to a unique location, but also work with the local people and gain a better understanding of their world.
