Girls on Top invite women with a sense of adventure, love for life & a vision to make a difference in the world to join us on a journey of self discovery, leadership and altitude among the workshop of the world's highest mountains. 

Each year women who hear the call to adventure and choose to make the commitment are invited to apply to join Girls on Top's fundraising mountaineering expedition. We travel to inspire and encourage women everywhere to reach out for their dreams, and to support and raise awareness for projects around the world that protect and enrich life. Each team member pays her way with support from our sponsors, and aims to raise at least $3,000 toward our cause for that year.

Make no mistake though, Girls on Top is not just about travel. The project asks each member to put her own vision, her fears and passions into action - to make a stand for herself & her way in the world. The whole journey, from planning and creating the expedition to raising funds, speaking with media, inspiring others and preparing the body and mind for the mountains both here and on our journey is an experience in co-operation, motivation, innovation & integrity.

We offer a shift in altitude, the rest is up to each team member! So far, expeditions to the roof of Africa, to Peru's infamous Huayhuash region & the Himalaya have enabled Girls on Top to make significant contributions to work supporting orphans in Zimbabwe, biodiversity in the Amazon & communities in Ladakh, known as 'Little Tibet'.

In 2008 we head from the Andes to the Amazon to continue our support of conservation in the world's greatest jungle, and to provide a platform for others to live their own dreams through Creative Minds - an inspired organisation fostering creative expression and the sharing of wisdom and experience in Australia.
